The two guys on the left are the ones who make it happen-weekend guest ranch retreats for returning warriors and their sweethearts. It's a great privilege to work with them!

9/29/16 Marine Special Ops Forces return to Rawah Ranch this fall.

The owners and managers of Rawah Ranch will be hosting another week-long retreat for a group of Marine Special Ops Forces who are part of "The Raiders Project". They will once again will be accompanied by their terrific counselor, Dr. Carrie Elk (http://elkinstitute.us/).
It's a great honor for me to have an opportunity perform for these individuals who along with their families and loved ones have made great personal sacrifices in order to preserve American freedom and protect our entire western civilization. My pal Larry Lashley shares the deep regard and respect I have for these folks. That's why he will be driving all the way out to the ranch from his home near Rapid City just to join me in playing this special performance.

Rawah Ranch hosted this outing for a group of Special Ops Marines - My friend Larry Lashley joined me for this one and the following evening we performed for a similar group from the Army at Sundance Trail Guest Ranch. Their outing was provided by individual private sponsors.

5/23/15 Wounded Warriors Guest Ranch Outing at Sundance Trail

Memorial Day weekend some of the horses from the Sundance Trail remuda and I will have the privilege of entertaining a group of wounded warriors and their significant others. Weather permitting I will get to perform in an intimate setting under the stars as these heroes and their loved ones gather around the campfire. I am deeply honored that this privilege was bestowed on me. I will do my best to help create some very pleasant and lasting memories that are woven among the songs I play on this special evening.

3/15/15 Freedom Concert

Last fall the stars aligned and pointed me in the direction of putting together a special musical event that would hopefully draw a crowd of folks that have it in their hearts to show our military veterans how much we appreciate them. As I began contacting my fellow musicians it became apparent that they too wanted to get behind this concept and make it a success. When I described what I had in mind to the manager of the American Legion, George Beach Post #4, she offered their full support and that gave us a wonderful venue in which to hold the concert. The list of musicians who will be part of this Freedom Concert (which I hope will be the first of many) is still growing and additional names will be added as more folks throw in with us.\

Members of the greatest generation are bound to remember this song that we rehearsed at the historic Bellvue Grange last Saturday. You will hear it and many more great songs if you attend the Freedom Concert.
